About me

I'm a writer with deep experience in exercise and health behaviour.

I founded
Bang Personal Training in 2008, where I've had the opportunity to test and observe how exercise strategies meet the messy realities of daily life.

I explore health, from the micro to the macro, and from simple exercises to the complexities of the environments and systems we inhabit.

I also write a newsletter for dads with over 5,000 subscriber and have been featured in Vice, GQ, The Agenda, and The Nature of Things.

I live in Toronto with my partner, Stephanie, and our son, who is full of beans.
